How does the CLUBfitting work?

1. Intake

We start with an intake interview. We will then proceed to measuring your current golf clubs. We look at composition, length, loft, lie, shaft flex and grip thickness.

Before we start hitting balls, it is important that we start with a static body measurement focusing on the following points:

• Body length
• Length from your wrist to the ground
• Measurement by hand

2. Launch monitor CLUB fitting

Now that we have gathered the necessary information, it is time to start the launch monitor and actually start hitting balls.

During the fitting we hit a lot of balls and compare the data from different clubs. We pay attention to, among other things:

• Club speed
• Ball speed
• Corner of departure
• Spider
• Distance

3. Results

During the launch monitor fitting we will also delve deeper into the dynamic measurement. This allows us to provide very accurate advice on the following matters:

• Shaft choice (weight/flexibility)
• Lie from the club magazine
• Length of the shaft
• Thickness and structure of the grip
• Best golf ball for you

We base our final advice on our experience and fitting data combined with the player's feelings.

WHY DO WE CHOOSE FORESIGHT GCQUAD AND NOT TRACKMAN OR FLIGHTSCOPE?

We made the decision in 2020 to switch to the GCQuad from Foresight Sports. Both Trackman and Flightscope work with a radar system. A radar system is placed behind the player, measures swing speed, ball speed and then tracks ball flight. With an indoor measurement, the ball flight is short, which means the launch monitor has to calculate a lot of data. GCQuad is a system that works with four cameras and its biggest advantage over radar systems is that it also measures the club face.
